Villreinsenter, Dovre
Wild Reindeer Center contrasts what most would expect to find when on excursion in the Norwegian Alps! The building can be described as a box of rough solid steel with openings cut and replaced with glass and wood.
The interior is one big solid wood structure that forms a back wall and comfortable seats overlooking the spectacular view of the Dovre plateau and the snow covered mountain Snøhetta.
The glass façade is a single low iron glass that creates an almost invisible shield between the protected inside and the sometimes hostile but breathtakingly beautiful outside.
