Sveska Ambassaden, Berlin
The Swedish Ambassador in Berlin now has a new residence following the comprehensive conversion and extension of the original building, which dated from 1940. The building now has a new upper floor and in addition to the fully renovated ground floor there are two new extensions, one providing an enlarged dining room for 30 guests and the other extended reception rooms.
All the reception rooms have direct access to the terrace and adjoining garden through new French windows. The upper floor houses the ambassador’s private rooms and two smaller apartments, while the ground floor is devoted solely to entertaining guests of the ambassador.
