Gränby Centrum is a shopping mall just outside of Uppsala. In 2011 the mall had more than 60 stores and 5 restaurants. Being so close to the city, the mall is a combined community- and shopping center.

The four story glass façade of 1100 m² is divided into four parts.

The system is called SG-Rod. This is a suspended construction that allows large glass panes with very light secondary structures.

The weight of the façade is transferred to thin stainless steel rods connected to the primary structure at roof level.
