The new student building is situated in a densely built area on the university grounds facing Aschebergsgatan and the center of Goteborg. Existing buildings, open spaces and passages of differing character have made this a complex job for the architects.

A distinct and complex student building has been created, which now serves as the new main entrance to the college.
Visitors enter at the new student building, with its exterior and interior reflecting activities.
It shows in part what is happening within the university, but most of all in the student building. Built with the idea of a being a new meeting place for students, personnel, and the business community on formal and informal occasions, it is quite simply a place for various new interactions.
