Chlamers ED
Chalmers ED is a glass extension that divides a large atrium into two spaces. The façade looks like a lens covering the existing building.
The glass façade is supported by horizontal steel beams that are suspended by rods. The wind loads are absorbed by horizontal arms anchored in a rear framework of pillars.
Total glass surface amounts to approximately 2400 m2.
The glass used is of neutral anti-glare type: Stopray Elite 67/37.
