Bremuseum, Fjærland
The Norwegian Glacier Museum.
In 1989, Sverre Fehn started the work on the design of the Norwegian Glacier Museum, which opened in 1991.
In 2002, the museum decided to expand to house a new exhibition about climate change.
The architect Sverre Fehn had to alter the design of a building that he had thought to be complete already. In the end, the extension was built around the existing cinema.
The construction work started in autumn 2006, and in July 2007, the Ulltveit-Moe Climate Centre opened.
